The UConn Taekwondo Team is collaborating with the Vietnamese Student Association to promote the sport and the spirit of Taekwondo. We plan to include the community in technique and self-defense building exercises.

The UConn Taekwondo team competed in Princeton, NJ at the ECTC Princeton tournament. The team sent 20 competitors to compete. Women’s B team consisting of Leah Gervin, Anna Gorbenko, and Seong Joo Hong made it to quarterfinals in sparring. Max Martone placed third in men’s blue belt poomsae. Patrick Tai placed 6th in men’s black belt poomsae. Madeline Lesko placed 6th in women’s black belt poomsae.
